ok well, i just made a net in my backyard. 40 1/2 inches high and 26 inches wide, made with white, 1 inche thick irrigation pipes.

i would sprint from one end of my yard, pretend my apple tree is a dman, deke "him" out (i know its gay but im just practising different deke's) then i would run a few feet and shoot, but i find it hard to shoot while sprinting. any tips?

thanks.

Keep on practicing. Just do it over and over again and you will get better.

yea once you master shooting on the run you will score more way more goals and especially if you dont have a real hard shot it makes it harder for the goalie to save because your constantly moving

While shooting on the run make sure to turn your hips and get your whole upper body into the shot, again, shooting on the run is the hardest skill to master so practice, practice, practice!

when you shoot on the run look at where the ball goes when you shoot, try aiming it a couple of times to see how far off you are, then compensat, usually i aim more to my post b/c as i lose my angle, it always goes too wide

I think the most difficult skill in lacrosse to learn is catching the ball on the run and especially catching in traffic. Basically it just takes time and practice. It is difficult to practice catching in traffic....I believe that it is a skill that is more applicable to box than to field.

Yea catching on the run is really hard mid- sprint, not so bad while slowly jogging though, I just run torward my rebounder pas and keep running then catch the rebound.

use different dodges on your defense(tree)man. that will also improve your dodging
