Removing Dye

okay so i dyed my intrepid black a while ago and now i want to remove the black dye and do a new dye job on it. I put the head in some dye remover, the same way as i would put the head in dye. and it has been in there for a while and it has just turned purple. A little of the dye is comming off.

Should i just wait and see what happens or am i doing it all wrong?

black will probably take longer than usual for all the dye to be gone...i'd say change the water and put new remover in there every hour or so until it all comes off.

Like he said, it will always just be a faded version of what it was.
