shaft problem

my shaft keeps turning my hand black after using it for a while, what can i do? i havent done anything to it (such as sanded it) but i tried washing it (with soap and all) and it still wont stop. also at the end of my shaft (this is the only spot that turns my hand black) its like darker than the rest of the shaft. i should mention that its alluminum.

try taking a wet paper towel to it. when i sanded the decals off my old brine shaft, it turned my hands blue. then i did that and it doesnt do it anymore.

Get a rag and put Mineral Spirits/Paint Thinner on it. Then rub it all over the shaft with a lot of "elbow grease". That's how I get the tape residue off my stick so, it might work.

tried it, still turns me black. i also tried it with soap.

i used goo gone, and its fine now, so i guess it was like nasty tape dirtiness
