well i think it was FLD that did the two tone Homegrown pocket a while back with the black and yellow and i wanted to give it a go myself mines only with with pink shooters but i think it turned out pretty well with no whip

I'm glad I could inspire you, but I don't think you need to tighten the coils. The reason your center channel is pulling up into arrows is because your center twist is too tight and is pulling up as it uses what little slack there is. You need to have a looser center twist which gives you enough slack to create tight coils but have enough give to pull down. Does that make any sense?
