In case you all did not notice, I haven't been around this week. I lost pretty much all of my access to the internet and even had to give the Forum a rest as I was forced into an electronic vacation.

While I was waiting for the maintenance crew to arrive and fix my internet connection, I decided to unstring a George Pocket I had in my BN Swerve, and put in a Classic-style Rock-it Pocket instead.

This actually throws the best out of any Rock-it Pocket I have strung yet (closing in on 30 now, and dragonlax, this throws even better than the George you got in that other Swerve from me) and it needs no hockey laces or shooters aside from the nylon I installed at the top.

Although I can string a perfect Rock-it Pocket, I much prefer to string my three-string version like this. I know that those subtle differences make it different from a perfect Rock-it Pocket, but this thread is not about a perfect Rock-it Pocket, just another Rock-it Pocket.

Ha ha ha. Thanks. I am pretty modest and will leave the thread title the way it is.

Thanks!

The answer to both of you is that I have strung too many of these things really and the more you do them, the easier they get. As to keeping them clean, same thing really. The more you string them, the neater you can keep them.

I find that stringing is a lot like swimming in that the only way to improve it to spend time in the pool doing it and not just thinking about it.

Perfect AND clean. Is that going to be your game stick?

Not the shaft. It is a Krypto Pro Kevlar and I think I will get rid of it. The head is great though and will be used.

1 thing though... looking at the front of the pocket there is a knot on the top left in the channel that the ball will it while you throw. You might want to fix that.

It looks great FLD!! I Aspire to reach your skill level with the strings. Very clean and symetrical. And all white is just the way I like them. Kind of off topic but how to you like your Swerve? I have one on the way. And was thinking of an RP for it as well. Anyways I love your work. Keep them coming.

That's how Rock-it Pocket's are. The knot there begins the center channel.

Thanks JayWap. I really like the Swerve, but I do have only one minor quip with stringing the Swerve with a Rock-it Pocket. The design of the head has some sharp angles on the sidewalls which doesn't do much to help stringing sidewalls.

I really like using white, and this used up the last of my white crosslace so it was a good way to go.

Good job. It has a nice clean look because everything is white.

On another thread a member joked that I only liked white heads which was kinda boring, but I really like the look of plain white stringing.
