I am going to get a new helmet soon. What is the best helmet on the market? I don't care what price but what is the best one.
The Brine Triad XP looks cool but donno about going with brine because its one of their first helmets while Cascade has come out with a whole bunch. I think I will end up going with a CPX or a CPX ti. Anything about the brine helmet thats better?
i tried on a triad and it was crap. the chinstrap sucks, its like some weird material. plus it felt like it would fall apart after 1 hit. i say stick with cascade. the CPX looks nice, too pricy for me though. i would rather buy a lacrosse goal or a new head and shaft.

Don't get a Ti helmet and if you want to buy a cpx buy it at laxdigest, 129 or something like that

Traid XP, i have one and it is just amazing... my only complaint is why in the lords name brine used a plastic buckle instead of a metal one on the bottom chinstraps...
the whole helmet just reeks with quality besides that, check my pics below, i think i have some of the XP in there.

that's a special price from lax digest if I'm not mistaken and theres a little finagling to be done to get that from what I hear... Is that discount still possible to get? I read on laxnation's forums that someone had gotten it as recently as march of this year but is that a standing offer?
okay, if all you have done is try something on, you CANNOT JUDGE IT! if you have used it for a season, as i have, then make as many judgements as you can. also, the XP is a great helmet, good price, great vision, great ventilation. don't listen to the kids who whine about how many vent holes there are. they're future members of the mainstream media. my ONLY gripe is that two pieces of stiff styrofoam poke into the back of my head, and that's probably because i bought a size too small for me. they'll probably come out with a newer chinstrap.
it is a tough helmet. nothing has broken, nor will it break, my guess. from people who actually OWN the helmet, i've never heard any gripes besides the chinstrap.

i don't have any gripes about the chinstrap, it is more comfortable to me i believe, i'm just curious as to why they used plastic buckles over metal ones... it just baffles me.
my only real problem in using one in game is finding a place to hook my mouthpeice into where it won't majorly impair my vision... i will probably end up just cutting the strap off because that super cage with the end-all vision just doesnt have a reasonable place to hook mouthpeices onto...
yeah, not really. i just don't have a strap, i gave it to somebody so that they could pretend to have a mouthguard. i usually forget where i put my mouthguard, though. so i usually just wedge it between some part of the cage.

ya iv had both the cpro and the cpx, cpx is by far better, for vision, comfort, and is a bit lighter to, plus it looks alot cooler lol, iv heard the brina triad isnt to good, for comfort reasons and such, plus i would rather go with cascade whos been making helmets for years other than a new brine helmet, that could be quite faulty.

I personally love my gait. It has great vision and a great fit. It is also much cheaper than those helmets that you mentioned.

I think the best helmet is the PLH2000. Ever.

I've never used one and never will. CPX all the way! So much better than the c-pro and the xp.

I love the Cpro, it's extremely comfortible. But a helmet is all preference.
