hey, eventhough there was a 4 hour block of lax today, on sportscenter there was a recap, still think it was pretty cool just to see it on tv.

the only thing is that ppl today are ignorant and dont want to spend the time to learn the game...about 5 years ago when i saw the lacrosse finals on tv i was really glued i had no idea what the hellthey were doing but when they would score... i dunno just like the way they scored was appealing... i was flipping through one day and saw it ... at first i was like wtf... but i mean who would have known i was gonna play it in high school... and possibly in college

i hate how ignorant people are, especially sportscasters. it also annoys me that people are like, "oh yeah, lacrosse is just like football and hockey combined." NOT IT'S NOT. Lacrosse is like basketball and hockey and field hockey combined. the hitting is rarely ever that fierce. unlike football, where there is a huge hit on every play, lacrosse is about being tactful and full of finesse. goodness gracious. and the hockey comparison is only partly true. box is a lot like hockey. field is a lot like basketball and some elements of hockey. goodness gracious.

i absolutely hate on "pardon the interupption" when a question comes up about hockey. "who's gonna win the cup?" asks mike "who cares? i don't follow hockey!" answers the other dude. YOU'RE A SPORTSCASTER, YOU KNOW SPORTS, IT'S YOUR JOB!! They just follow basketball and football. Same thing with lax, sports announcers trying to explain it and failing miserably.

i hated the fact that after the game they switched to softball... i didnt get to hear what the coaches had to say or end game anaylisis
