Quint Kessenich got it wrong!

Quint Kessenich's commented during the mll allstars vs team USA that every other nation competing in the ILf world championships werent that good, then said that "Canada are OK". He then started bragging about about the previous record of the Us team 41-1 (which is now 47-2 with the 2 losses being world championship games!!) he then finished by saying he ranks the mll all star team as the second best team in the world!!!

Quint you were wrong Canada is the number 1 team in the world! the USA is number 2, Australia is number 3 (we lost to the US 13-10 in the semi final while the mll all stars lost 18-10) The Iroqouis are number 4 and then the mll all stars are probably the number 5 team.

I might also add that Australia only finished one place below the USA with the bronze and the US has about 400,000 more lacrosse than we have down under!

It doesnt matter that USA only beat Australia by 3, or that we have more laxers here than down under. What matters is we beat Australia and we are better than them. Ya we lost to Canada becasue they are better than us.

Also, the two losses being in championship games doesn't make us bad, it just means the only time we lose is when we are #2 in the world against #1. When has Australia been better than #3?

My point is that Quint made some very arrogant comments about the USA and degrading comments about other lax playing nations. Anothjer point i was trying to make is that Australia i feel did a good job in the championships considering we do not have great amount of lacrosse players compared to most countries. Imagine if Australia had as many players as the US we would dominate...Also if you country is gonna be arrogant they need to back it up on the field (i.e. Muhammad Ali and Michael Jordan) or countries will not have a high opnion of Americans.

I bet every other country competing at the worlds wanted Canada to win that final. Whys that? no arrogance they just went about their business

Australia has received a silver medal in lacrosse world championships in 1967, 1974, 1982, and 1994....so Australia has finished 2nd 4 out of 10 world championships if that answers your question...

Quint, like a number of other American laX people, may need to pull his head out of his own arse so he can see what's actually happening.

sorry generally US lacrosse players that i know seem to be arrogant we have about 2 players at our club each year from the us plus from what i see on tv etc...It's wrong to classify but its only my opinion that i have perceived.
