I tried searching and couldnt find anything, but i was wondering why the Web goalie head was illegal for high school and college play?

you would probably have better luck with this in the goalie forums. I am guessing that it is legal( a goalie at my school uses on.)

Yeah, I'm not so sure if it's illegal. If it was illegal it would be the dimensions though. I used one for a few games and the refs didn't say anything. Where did you hear that anyways??

its only in some leagues and its because of the little wing things on the bottom sides

I read it in one of the threads on here... it said it was illegal in high school and college lacrosse

I have played against a goalie who used one so it cant be illegal and theres no illegal characteristics about it. I think you made with thread with wrong facts...

You aren't imagining it, I read that too. It was sometime ago, however, and I couldn't recall where in the Forum it popped up.

i know a few goalies who used it all throughout highschool so im sure its fine but could just be on whos reffing

I played in this game where a guy slashed another guy on top of the head and there was no call, so that can't be illegal either. :chuckle:

Seriously, your claim has no basis in logic. Just because something was allowed in a particular game has little bearing on whether that thing was, in fact, legal. We just aren't that consistent.
