The new shafts look cool, kinda liking the new kpro logos.

I hope the hero grip stays the same. Did you notice that it on the top of the shafts it said warrior so you can see it on all off the pro series throats. I noticed it on my alloy 2000 and it is pretty cool. I kinda got it messed up when I put my P2 on it though.

Hero is now a hockey stick carbon composite rather than a harrow carbon composite. You can see in the pics what i mean.

The palms on the Superfly's look too similar in color to the palms of the Iroquois Brine Defts. Also, the neon green looks ugly, either take it off, or put more on...

And a guy on the forums said he bought the Mojo "somewhere" for 100$. He had pics of it (Up close and in his house), so I am doubting he is lying.

Rockstars are simply studs that are not exclusive to LU, so now warrior can use the same design, but sell it to all lacrosse retailers

The Dealbreaker is a 'special' krypto pro, sort of like the 'Black and Blue', the 'Day Trippin', 'Criss Cross', and 'Diamond'

I am not really feelin those superflys, they remind me of insects with the plastic vents. And is it just me or did warrior's labels suddenly become very disgusting. Like, inexplicable tasteless. I'd rather they call their new shafts 'Sick Pimpfly McNastys!!!' than have those ugly lookin swirls all over them.

Supaflys I think look horrendus. They are quite gaudy and just over-the-top ugly.

I dont like the green logos on everything now, but that can be rubbed off, and it will, because I like most warrior shafts. The new TitanPro looks good, as does the KryptoPro and the Criss Cross with the new blue decals on it.

ehh, this gear is actually pretty disappointing. The pads haven't improved, they just look a hell lot more ugly...reminds me of AVP. The helix is just another razer pro with a different sidewall design, and the mojo is another finalizer. The superflys... you either love em or hate them. In my opinion this stuff isn't terrible, just not anything special.

the razer pro 2.0 has a bigger flare and a almost torque like scoop. i would say that the razer 2.0 is a better buy. take the regular razer pro pictures that came out before the actual razer pro...and that is the same pinch/look. razer pro 2.0 is a good head, but not as good as the razer 2.0 will be, IMO...and that is a very good opinion as well since razers are my favorite heads...

no real specs on the head, in terms of pinch ...etc from the product list. only thing is that it is the ultimate pinch. this is how i have been pinching my razers and blades that i have owned forever. warrior finally made a head that wouldn't need me to pinch the stick. i used to take a puck and put it in the back of the sidewall and tighten the front to make a reverse flare almost...so you had tons of control in the back and tight up front. this is going to take off!

since i have been one of the people to actually handle the product like PCHSlax5 and some others...i feel like i want to give my two cents and do a little catalogue run-through. i have worked in the lacrosse retail world for over 3.5 years now and i'm as knowledgeable as they come when it comes to equipment. haha i constantly impress the representatives when they come in. here is my breakdown...page by page

HEADS
----------

helix head: by far the best pinch for any position. the reason why i say this is that it is all about control. it is a narrow face, then flares at the top where you need it to catch. if you catch really high in your head...no worries. if you used to catching low in the pocket, you might need to adjust a little. the pinch itself has probably the best factory pinch i have ever seen. very wide in the back, narrow in the front. this is how i have been pinching my sticks since i found out how to do it. you get control and the ball will sit in the back of the pocket and when stick checked, has a better chance of staying in.

razer pro 2.0: don't hold your breath, same head as last year. has the new tat etching feature to all the heads (the tribal designs now are on all of the heads). it has the reinforced throat and a slightly, and i will say SLIGHTLY, tighter pinch. you can't notice this on first glance. if you love the razer pro, go for it. but don't expect much more out of the 2.0. the only thing they made better was the scoop, a little more brought together so it is less finalizer-like.

evopro: same head, except is has the tat etching in it.

razer 2.0: with the exception of the helix, this is the head to buy for the new season! take the original razer, make it lighter...tighten it up more...add a better scoop (almost like a torque)... reinforce the throat and add more string holes. i think i have permanently found my stick replacement. i have literally had maybe 30+ razers since i have been playing lacrosse. hands down my favorite head, and they made it that much better. can't wait! now people might say, well the razer pro was the solution to all of the razers problems...no, i disagree...the razer pro is VERY different from the razer...and especially with the new 2.0 line for this year.

revo pro: tighter face, it's more pinched at the throat. also has the tat etching. i'm 90% sure they fixed the scoop angle on it as well...

evo & revo 2.0: by far the best value in the entire head lineup! tighter pinch on both, better scoops...better throat...and cheaper prices... can't go wrong.

finalizer: is now going to be a mid-low priced head. trying to get rid of it.

mojo: obviously the same design as the finalizer. just a different sidewall. get this if you want to get the "new style" or just because its going to be 10 dollars less then the finalizer at retail. which makes sense, same head...less money. why not?

savage II, warpath, and laxstar...no change

nemesis...no change

abyss 2.0: big change! offers a curved scoop, lighter, better price. overall has the nemi beat for the old school goalies

snatch: much cheaper

SHAFTS
----------

all the titanium shafts have had a price increase! will be more expensive at retail shops!

new graphics on them, same shaft...no big deal...except the price.

dolomite shaft: the scandium+titanium of the lineup to match stx's shaft. very balanced, graphics are hot. might end up outselling the kpro in a couple of years.

conor gill shaft: no change

hero shafts: thanks to the innovative hockey factory, they can make some quality shafts now. very durable carbon composite material. hollow all the way through! will still beat the harrow prices as well! COMPOSITE BEST BUY!

split shaft: no change...not durable from what i have seen, but if you like it...meh...ok

diamond shafts: new graphics, even more smooth coating, so if you guys like grip...get out your tape cause this thing was slippery!

criss cross shaft: no change

kpro dealbreaker: 5 bucks more retail vs the regular kpro. graphics are hot, this stick is going to sell quick

krpos: new graphics...no change

klytes: no change except graphics

platinum alloys: no change

alloy 2000...err i mean 6000: 6000 grade aluminum...new name from the 2000 but it has always been the same shaft...no change except name

----------

GLOVES
----------

LTD. Edition. Snakeskin macs: ugly in person, feels like regular macs, so don't expect the buttery feel of last year's LTD macs. i would say maybe keep your eye out on last years on closeout...

super flys: better feel then the mac daddy glove. is it worth spending money on? if you want the latest and greatest, yes. they do look hot. i had them on my hands and a couple kids from a local team came in and stared at me for like five minutes as there jaw was dropped. also yelling "GIVE ME A PAIR" to the rep. so they will definitely fly off the shelf based on looks alone. i would personally wait until the macs drop a little in price...but it is what it is

macs, freaks, star II's: no change

rockstar: same thing as the studs from www.lacrosseunlimited.com . nothing big with these, they don't come with a cuff so if you like wrist movement, these are for you. cheaper prices. but the only thing, doesn't come in all the funky colors like LU supplied. BUMMER!

hypno: no change

adrenaline: new vents added...not worth it for the youth, the tempo is the better buy

GOALIE GLOVES! superfreaks are the same, no mac's in the catalogue..but HYPNO GOALIES! finally a cheap pair of goalie gloves for the youngsters!

SHOULDER PADS:

mpg: HOT HOT HOT! comfortable, lighter, and a well priced pad. why wouldn't you want to look into these?!?!? the 6.5 is by far the best pad in the entire lineup. minimal pad, can take the arms off but it sill provides enough heart protection and spine. will sell out...literally!

5.5-2.5 is the same as last years mpg but with new black, green and silver.

GOALIE

mll,players club: same

mpg: goalies assemble! finally just a basic less bulky chest protector in the 2.0. 5.5 version is same as last years top end MPG.

super screw ball & weighted ball: comes in a two pack. the screw ball is a regular ball with groves in it, chunks taken out...i posted a pic earlier in the thread. really fun to pass with and shoot with. great for goalies or wall ball to get reaction time up. weighted ball = the weight of 3 balls...yeeesh.

quick zip net: UGH! warrior came up with this and made it! i had a speech in high school talking about a new product that we had to invent. i came up with a net that had zippers on it that you would tie around the net and then just zip up so you didn't have to always leave your net out in the rain and snow to get destroyed over time. also since tying up nets are a pain. but of course, little did i know...i didn't pursue the product... KICKING MYSELF NOW!

float-able lacrosse mini net for pools. kinda neat idea... too bad i don't have a pool

shooting target stencil: place on the wall...get some chalk and make a target, a great way for warrior to come up with the easiest thing and market it for some cash

no, its a training ball used for goalies and players doing wall ball. like one of those reaction balls, but it always releases different out of your stick. pretty fun and i know playing wall ball will make your reaction quicker for a player!

the razer 2.0 is essentioally what the razer pro should have been...you got that 100% on the head. better pinch, different scoop, tat etching, better throat and sidewalls.

i'm telling you the razer 2.0 is THE head to get for this year! that or the helix, but based on pinch alone.

so basically the rock stars are the LACROSSE UNLIMITED limited edition STUD gloves with a new name and now mass produced AWSOME wich also means that they will be great for the first month or so then they will rip and start to suck and people will get sick of them and want to spend money on a diffrent pair of warrior gloves, great marketing if you ask me!

I tried them on at the warrior trailer at East Coast Lax Wars in NJ and i liked them much more than the studs. the mojo's shape is similar if not identical to the finalizer, and its sidewall design is stiffer I figured you finalizer users would want to know that. screw ball is probably for goalies cuz it takes weird hops and bounces...unpredictable, helpful for goalies to develop their reflexes and reaction time......possibly the only good idea in the entire warrior 07 line (if it is what i think it is)

Is Warrior picking minerals at random? The shaft can't have any dolomite in it, as dolomite is basically limestone. It's as hard as chalk.

yes yes yes, i was at millon this week in farmingdale and the superflys were given away and the helix and the dolomite were shown and i threw with it, very nice, also the evo 2.0 i got to throw with very nice also

Ok, I am going to elaborate as I have connectiones at warrior....

Evo 2.0 is warrior 'correcting" the terrible scoop the evo pros and revo pros had in the first place, the have made it a little more back like the razer to avoid all the unecessary hook and whip you'd get out of the evo pro and revo pro....Thats all it is, an evo pro with improved redesigned scoop without that nasty hook feel off the scoop throws you get if you place the pocket high....

Razer looks the same....I just wish they made blade pro, casey powell or not, just rename it and modify the sidewalls a bit, call it the rusty or something equally stupid that warrior would use!

Agreed the names are lame, but they have the best stuff out right now, brine has tanked it bad, stx lost me at rubberized this and that and floating walls and such, Gait is still cool, but I was hooke on razer and blade and the superfreaks....Haven't really switched since....maybe a little harrow cuz of deals and I like the shafts, but that's it...

Hoping for a blade pro eventually here....

Helix seemed reverse of blade, BTW, the flare widens at the stringing holes and is tight at the face, whereas the blade got tight at the pocket but was wide at the face....

I personally am getting a screwball, they look awesome, I also think the Dolomite looks pretty nice, but that is from an asthetic view only I'd like to hear what its made outa, and Personally Razer 2.0 is looking pretty nice. I think that superfly's will look better in stock colors instead of the fancy white ones shown in the pictures, but thats just me. Overall warriors new line impressed me more then I expected

Does the new hero just have new graphics or does it have a totally new feel. I had the chance to buy a new one for 60 a few days ago but I passed. Kinda regrettig it.
The new shafts look cool, kinda liking the new kpro logos.
Superflys look kinda bulky. Rockstars look like studs or merc prostars.

GC the new hero has a totally new feel. They have put more of a grip coating on the outside of the handle and the shafy is completely hollow with no inserts on the top or the bottom. This year's hero is one of the better handles that Warrior made.
The Rockstar is similar to LU's Stud glove, a mix between the Mercury Pro Star and the Hypno.

i'm telling you the razer 2.0 is THE head to get for this year! that or the helix, but based on pinch alone.

Is it just me or are Rockstars exactly the same as Superstar II's? The only difference I see between the pair I'm holding and the gloves in this thread are the cuffs and simply the leather design stitched on top.
