I got an e-mail from them. The one in Kansas? Are they going to be a club team or like D3?

club for two years they r goin to be in the the b divison for the clubs and than go d2. the coach hopes two years at club

That's cool. You still don't have to pay to play though, and they give you money to buy your equipment (even though it's club), is what I thought he told me. I'm going to be a junior though, so I still have time. Are you going there?

i might go in the spring or in the fall of 07. they gave u money to buy ur equipment cuz some people like different companies and he just has the color requirement which is kool.

That's really cool they're going DII (just read on their website), I'll have to keep that in mind. Congrats, and good luck wherever you go. Just curious, how'd you find out about them?

the coach sent me a letter in the mail out of no where and i sent him an email and we started to talk. rite now im tryin to start a club team at University of North Florida so depending on how that goes ill go to Newman or not. the coach is very friendly

yea the team is going to be club and then in a year or two (from what the coach told me, they are going to be DII). I was recruited by them but I decided im going to play junior college first and see how that works out. The coach told me i'm welcome to come and try out later on if the JuCo doesnt work out. I have one team mate and a friend from another team that I know are going to play there

yeah , we had a newman scout come in Texas. That school really should be backup because of their low standards though. One of my friends who plays for Fontbonne sais Newman does not have that great of a lacrosse team, but they will still grow. One of the recruiters who came down said that they are looking for defense though...

Our team is small right now but the group of guys we have here could all play DII and probably start DIII. So in a year our team should be able to Dominate the GRLC and MAIA.

yea they should be a decent team, as long as their coach doesn't play that attackman from allen
