The Lacrosse Journal.com ( http://www.thelacrossejournal.com/ ) says that there will be an NLL dispersal draft including players from Ottawa and that Coulumbus to Pheonix deal is close to done.

True Stopper, but thats not always good.

So, if Ottawa is infact dispersing, this could create some upheaval in the NLL world. I have to look over their roster again, and see who I would suspect would be coming to Philly. Ottawa has/had a pretty good team, that just didn't play that well together.

That is certainly news JMPlax! Thank you, and I will follow that story.

Thank you, and I will follow that story. your right it isnt always good, the main reason for most of these news topics is beacuse of a team failing in a certain city, whihc isnt good. However if these teams in the West go well then it is good news cuz it opens a brand new market for lacrosse

The NLL had immense success in Denver in its first attempt at the American West coast (which Denver does not boarder, but is still considered west). With this in mind, some west coast investors feel they can immitate Denver and create that in their city. A failing lax squad is lured out west, to a wealthy investor with the intent of making the team work. If they succeed, it works for everyone! If they fail, it could be a MAJOR setback!

So, in essence, I want this whole thing to work but I'm not gonna hold my breath to make it happen. So far, I have confidence in San Jose, but Anaheim is still on shaky ground. A press release on the Arrowhead Duck Pond website does not qualify as informing the masses.

Well, with 2 teams recent;y folded, if they both have dispersals, the NLL team rosters will have to be expanded.

-Go Rattlers!

NY players are going via unrestricted free agency. There will be no dispersal draft, unless the collective bargaining agreement is signed soon....and it may already be too late for a dispersal draft anyway.

The rosters will remain the same size, as the NLL next year will actually be expanded to as many as 14 teams in 2005. Look for the east to get all 4 teams.

I would like to see some lacrosse come west. I don't have cable, so I get to watch hardly any lacrosse. I would love to go see the pros.
