way out of shape is not the word man :laugh :jk

wanna get back in shape slowly: you did 2 suicides this morning, get back there tomorow and 2 suicides again. after couples times of 2 suicides, it'll get easier : jump to the next step : 3 suicides

when u'll be able to do 5-6 suicides start the Cardio-Program

i know this sounds crazy BUT i decided to play football, lol, this year (sophmore this year) and i have to say i missed out, all the things you learn for speed, agility, strength, endurance can all help you in lacrosse. I can run much faster and longer then i could during last season, i cant wait till this season. i just got to keep the conditioning going. :agree

Football is great. But Rugby is even better complement to Lax in my opinion. ALOT more running, you never stop really for half and get like 5 minutes(literally) at half time. Same types of skills with hitting and all. But more improvisation and fakes. On the run type stuff like lax. But your body does take one hell of a beating. Guess thats good to toughen you up. If your going to drill a guy wearing nothing and your not scared. Your going to hit that much harder when you strap on pads cause your not going to feel it as much.

Football is good and i love it but i am just getting into Rugby just like i got into lax a few years ago. These are just some observations i've made

I started workign out at one of the YMCA's up here with some friends, and I noticed that just from doing the legpress, and working with other weights that work the legs, then by running for 10 min. I was able to increase my speed and endurance, just have to figure out how to increase my agility.

a long jump rump obviously also doing stadiums where you step on every step is really good for agility as well

running stadiums would be killer, like to do an entire loop around up and down

speaking of running stadiums, anyone remember that 80's movie VisionQuest where the guy is doing stadiums with a huge log on his shoulders

missed that one. i heard tho that former notre dame quarterback paul horning (from way back when) could run the steps at notre dame stadium up and down all the way around.

Vision Quest is one of thoes motivational sports movies, basically it is about this kid who really wants to be the state champ for his weight class in wrestling, but he has to beat this bad *** wrestler, so he trains like hell and wins at the end.

Dude, if you really want to get into shape try out wrestling. Wow, it improves on everything, you'll be truely amazed. It helps with other sports as well. I used to hate it, but its an amazing sport. I just can't wait til Football and Lacrosse though.
