alright, so I just got another x2. My other one is strung with hard mesh, and its good enough to be my game stick...but I want to pinch the one I just got. FYI...I play middie and I might be doing face offs. So I tied it up and everything, and I want to know if you guys think it'll turn out good. It's supposed to be really hot tomorrow (around 100) and i was thinking if I just left it out on my balcony it would bake and pinch..do you think it will work?, or should i just boil it...alright enough talking, here are pics:

By the way, it is about 6.75 inches at the widest point and it is legal all the way through...so bottom line: do you think it will turn out good with this pinch, should I leave it out in the scorching sun (100 degrees), or should i boil it?
Thanks in advance!

It would be easier to leave it outside than to boil it. If you have a car's back window to use, I would recommend it over the balcony. Leave it there for a day, maybe a day and a half, then reclaim.

so leaving it outside would work??? I've boiled a head before, its not that hard..but if leaving it outside works just as well then Id rather do that

Using the car creates a contained space which will increase the temperature and give you better results. Leaving it outside leaves the head in the clutches of the ambient temperature which might not be strong enough or direct enough to do the job correctly.

The way you wrote this thread made me read it fast for some reason....anywho, if you don't mind it taking a long time, leave it on the balcony, and if you need it quick, boil it

I would personally just boil it. Even at 100*'s the temperature outside will not be enough to maintain the pinch after you take off the lace. The car method works good because it is just a big oven really. If you have ever gotten into a car that has sat in the sun all day you know what i mean.
For convenience sake...Just boil it. Though this is just my opinion.

alright, so I decided I'll boil it now and leave it in the freezer overnight...I have some more questions though...
How should I put the head in the pot?

or...

I'm thinkgin the second way is better because more of the head that I want pinched will be under the water, or is it bad to put a head in the pot neck first?
Also, how long should I let it boil, and after that how long should I leave it in the freezer?
Thanks a lot, I want to make this a good pinch

You need to have the whole head submerged from my experience.

haha, I haven't thought of putting it in a pan...but anyways, I found a good pot and I'm starting the boiling process...lets hope it goes well
EDIT:: So how long should I let it boil in the pot...20 minutes??
