Midnight String Job

I got bored a little earlier so i decided to string one of my sticks. I didn't realy have a set pocket to string, i just wanted to waste some time. Since i am all out of materials the colors are kinda wierd, but sooner or later i'll stock up again and i'll have some new leathers/sidewall/crosslace to use.

Of course my cat wanted some attention so he decided to attack the side of my stick while i was taking the pictures.

Haha haven't slept in two days. Last night i was up untill 5:30 because i had nothing better to do, my girlfriend came over at 6.. Ya can't sleep all day so i've been up since.. Its killer...

And marflax i tied some flies on friday and caught myself a nice 8lb rainbow trout saturday morning. And just so you know Stringing Sticks PWNS tieing flies... especially when ya got fat fingers.

Its wierd that you get more comments in a quicker time period this late at night then you do if you post a thread at like 9:00 at night...

I should have used my orange sidewall... :idea: But i just remembered i had it...shucks

Actually, they aren't shooters at all.. Their shoe laces i bought from Olympia sports. Like i said im basically out of stringing supplies (except half a roll of white crosslace) So they are Sof Sole 45" classic laces. They work pretty good for being 2 for $1.

Nah, i just cant sleep in the summer...not sure why...but i never have been able to. And stringing clears my head so i always make time for stringing.

Shoe laces... Never tried them, probably never will hehe. Probably work pretty good though, Maybe a bumpier release than the usual, due to how they look thicker than normal shooters.. Anyways, im off to my room. Parachute ants need tieing. Im out of head cement though, lets hope just a plain whip finish will hold :(

and I've used shoelaces for shooters before too. The ones that are just like the hockey laces. they work fine, except their isn't any space int eh middle, so if you stick a nylong into your laces, it wouldn't work.

and i've used regular shoe laces for sidewalls before too. I think the boot ones are just like sidewall, except that they come in dumb clors (two different shdes of brown interweaved = gross)
