Its almost that time again, and my neighbor has to go back August 4th!! :bawling: I just cant believe summers almost over. Well for me its not because I go back August 28th but anyways when does your school start?

Yeah, my mom would always call me into the room when that walmart Most Wonderful Time of the Year commercial was on. That song always spelled out the end of summer fun for me. Thankfully, that commercial is no longer used.

Yea I also agree with you there, i'm like 50/50 on the whole deal but I still hate hearing about it, but summer= sleeping till 10:30 not 6:00 and alot of free time for lacrosse and stuff, but I get to see my friends in school that I don't keep in touch with alot over the summer.

OK so rumor has it that I might not be going back to school untill october due to asbestis removal thats not finished, i heard this from a couple diffrent people, so I'm thinkin oh great an extra month off, but no, if this is true we'll lose are breaks, christmas, spring...and we wouldn't be let out untill July.

From the kids in texas I know, school starts on august 16th and ends may 20th or something.

I went back wednesday, si I got my first week of highschool under my belt (sorta) I've been at school since june, mondays, wednesdays, and fridays for football workouts.school's a breeze, I chill out in classes (they're more discussion/ notetaking) then its out to the field for football practice. That totally blows.

I dont see why everyone dislikes going back to school. Frankly I love it. All my friends are back in town, fall ball lacrosse, indoor lacrosse, etc. For me the positives of going back to school (friends, lacrosse, etc) outweigh the negatives(homework)

Which is exactly why I asked if he played college. Normally, High School games are on Friday, college games are on saturday. So, if he was indeed in high school, he could proceed to explain the stuation or tell me to buzz off. But I also left the possibility of him being an NCAA athlete, or NIAA (I think?) open.

So my first day was today, it was ok, my classes were mostly good, the only problem is it seems there is a HUGE freshman class this year, every lunch period is packed, its so crowded, it sucks, my lunch last year was great not too many people, just right.
