CRRRRRACK! (there goes the bionic)

aight so i was playin wall ball today and i slaped the stick on the ground by the ball, and the back of the throat cracked (on one side only) is there any way i can fix it or is it, uh shot :DOH:

how bad is it?...i cracked the throat on my primer and just threw some tape on there and its fine now.

try some athletic tape around it once you put it on the shaft, that should work then

and i bought it from a guy who owns a lax shop at a camp, do i have a warrenty on it?

If it's not completely blown through a sidewall or anything, it's ok. Bionics are crazy, as long as it doesn't affect the way you catch & throw, keep playing w/ it until you get the funds to get a new one. wrap some tape around it or put some hot glue on it or epoxy if you want, that should help a little. Throat cracks aren't too bad, usually, unles they spread up into the rest of the head. If you could post a pic, that would be helpful for suggestions

Yeah I'm pretty sure you still have a warranty on it. Call up your local shop and see if you can trade it in to get another or if not you have to send it back to STX.

This link was found very quickly through the great tutorial list maintained by Livin4lax09... Though this tutorial explains how to fix a broken SIDEWALL, I have no doubts that it will work fine with what you're doing... Just modify it to your broken spot.

You should see mine. I broke one of the sidewall pieces, kept playing with it, broke more of the sidewall. Eventually broke the whole sidewall and ended up tearing the other half off.

well i just snapped it off, and am going to tape over the spot i guess it wasnt that bad, thanks for all the help tho guys

You can't fix broken heads but you can try to heal it a little with that tutorial.
