Sandboarding!

So I'm going on a trip in a couple of days and while I'm there, I plan to get in some awesome sandboarding. For those of you who dont know, sandboarding is like snowboarding, but on sand. There are a bunch of dunes that are about 250+ feet in hight and I can't wait to go.

So my question is.... has anybody else sandboarded before or is anybody into sandboarding?

i've skimboraded before. sand boarding sounds like fun. though, i'd probobaly fall off and roll down. dont get sand in your shorts :thumbsup:

Skimboarding is not much like sandboarding. You dont get wet sandboarding, you are strapped in, and you ride it down a hill. Plus the sandboard looks nothing like a skimboard.

I like skimboarding though.

I was very tembted to put some bindings on my old snowboard and take it to michigan and the dunes over there when I went, but I decided against it. It looks fun though. I might have to try it out sometime.
