I remember watching Tony Hawk do the 900. That was way more historic.

kinda except one thing, a triple backflip can never be done with the size of the ramps now.

IMO the double backflip is way more intense. Tony Hawk had many tries to get that 900 and if he fell he wouldve fallen cleanly on his knee pads. Travis had one shot to get the double backflip and a fall could've been career or maybe even life ending.

I found it interesting that he told commentators that if he didnt hit it in the exact spot on the landing ramp that he would be dead, and that he woulde be dead if the ramp wasnt perfect. What the hell is more insane than a double backflip on a 250 pound motorcycle. He just as easily could have died as landed it.
