tryouts will be coming up eventually, i was wondering what are the best teams for exsposure for a sophmore in the northern mass/nh area i should be looking for

top gun fighting clams

Top Gun Littlenecks/Fighting Clams are the best.
Then, Probably NH Tomahawks or NESLL.
Lastly, Mass Elite.

I played for the Littlenecks this past year and I know first hand that it IS the best team for freshmen/sophmores in New England. Also, the clams always send their players on to top college programs and the best way to become a clam is to play littlenecks. Good luck!

Play in the Top Gun Leagues and then try out for Clam Camp and then play your best in Clam Camp and if they think you're good enough they send you an invite to play Littlenecks for whatever tournament or showcase.

yea well im probly biased cuz i play for them but NED (new england developmental lacrosse) out of western mass is pretty damn good. We beat NH Tomahawks at mid-summer and in 2004 we won hotbeds and in 2005 we came in 10th at hotbeds and this year we came in 5th at hotbeds. But your probly closer to top gun so play for them cuz they are a well established program.

well i play for madlax which has a juniors, seniors, and combo team and goes to three fall tourneys. theres southern md select, green turtle, baltimore prep, maryland redshirts, bmore lacrosse club, maryland allstars, cmd, celts, advantage metro, crossroads, griffins. those are the ones i can think of besides the crabs and olde bay, but i dunno much info about them

NED and Topgun are the two best elite programs in mass.

the nh tomahawks are probly gunna be the best team this summer, but were having 2 u19 teams, and we droped the u17 cos we were too good.. and we only lost to the fighting clams by a couple, and cut us some slack cuz it was like our 3rd game together as a team..and the next weekend we went undefeated at umass...

no offense to whoever said their team was the best in new england, but you probably arent. hotbeds really doesnt get the best representatives to play, case in point, last year new caanan represented connecticut, but they werent the best team in connecticut. Also, this year Bulldog Elite which is the team i played for last year is representing connecticut and i can assure you that we will get demolished because the best team in connecticut is CT Elite which won the summer tourney at hofstra when they played on the varsity level and the team is comprised of soley sophs.

NESLL Black already had tryouts but they are by far the BEST team in New England. Only one new kid is joining a team that made it to the championship round at Champ Camp! The Tomahawks are probably the second best, then the Clams.

The Tomahawks beat a U-17 combined team - players from the first and second U-17 teams. Marcus coaches the first U-17 team. The NESLL U-19 Black team finished higher than any Mass, NH or RI team ever at Champ Camp this past summer losing in the playoffs to the eventual champion Dukes team.

I'm pretty sure there is some statistic that says top gun has never lost to any NESLL team ever.. Once you beat the clams then you could consider yourself ahead of them.. But by the numbers alone they are not in your favor.. The NH tomahawks are the real deal though Rosenbrauch is an incredible goalie I wonder where he's going next year.

CT Elite is the best CT team, IMO. I don't know about tryouts or anything but I would definately tryout if you're good enough.

Very true, no offense meant at all, but I can guarantee that the Tomahawks are not the 3rd best club team in the nation. The top 10 club teams would probably be swept by MD and NY teams, with a few odd teams from other states.

The "top ten" would include the Dukes Lacrosse Club, winners of the 2006 Champ Camp.

Isn't that a New York Team? I think we (CT Hurricanes) are in one of the same tourneys, but I'm not sure. If they are, then it is probably a legit team.

Honestly, ive played nesll for like 4 years or whatever, don't do it. GO TOPGUN OR SOMETHING ELSE-NESLL IS A JOKE. they are underqualified, and theres only an occasional good player, its a mess.

I played CT elite over the summer, they were not that good. We beat them 9-3. Maybe it was a bad game but if they represent CT... wow.
