How long do you think it will take for the evolution of lacrosse to come to a point where college coaches recruit every where in the united states and canada, even in the non hot beds like indiana where I live, there are ways to get noticed like going to tournaments and camps but is there an easier way?, Post your thoughts and opinions it would be greatly appreciated.

Not right now. I mean, coaches do recruit from coast to coast, and already do quite a bit of recruiting in Canada. I dont really know what else to say?

never. almost every good recruiting showcase camp or team camp is on the east coast. i cant think of one thats not and until that changes expect coaches to find most their players from the east caost

well at the same time, players from these non-hotbed areas see goin east to the showcases as a way of proving to themselves that they can play with the elite. a lot of kids use those as a self evaluation for deciding is college ball is the right thing for them

Well kids from all over the country are getting recruited becuase they come to all the showcases and tournaments over on the east coast. Like I met kids from California and Texas and all over the place at 205. I think thats how recruiting will be untill there are more schools on the west coast that get lacrosse programs.

for schools like denver, osu, notre dame, and other mid west schools youll see that many players on their roster are from that area. but when u look at the acc and patriot leagues and so forth, their rosters are filled with east coast players, majorities of ny and md. every so often mid west kids or west coast will come east but its a rareity now. hopkins has a d pole from cali and im sure their others.
