Today i was watching the Lizards vs. Prides game and one of the announcers mentioned an article in Inside Lacrosse about how to keep your head from morphing and becoming illegal. does anyone know where i could find this article? i'm not sure what board this belonds in so i just put it in here since this seems like a general board about mens field (hence the name)

it's in the (february maybe?) issue of IL. i'm not entirely sure of the month, but it has Matt Danowski on the front and has the NCAA preview.

since i dont get inside lacrosse is there anyway possible i can find that article on the internet?

if its the one i think it is, all it says is a new way to string all your gear onto your stick, that way your helmet is not putting constant pressure on the sidewalls of your head. In short, you have to put the gloves on the shaft, then the helmet, then the rest of your stuff.

I was watching that game, and I laughed when I heard Quint talking about the whole "helmet on stick" causing the illegal pinch.
Any serious person knows that many MLL guys pinch their sticks intentionally.... it wasn't because of the helmet and storing gear in a hot car.

God ian... you gotta be quicker with the responses.
Just a tip for anyone worried about too much of a pinch, illegal heads.. buy two pads of post it notes (about 1/4 inch) and put a ball between the two of them low in the throat... never been called for a illegal head.
