lawrenceville would win, i know for a fact that for the past couple of years lawrenceville has been requesting a rematch of the game in 2002 and delbarton has denied every year. i have seen both teams play and although it would be a close match, i would have to say lawrenceville would win..

Boyle-a mcbride and could probably limit whichever one he covers to 1/2 goals
lawrenceville has another defensemen who could cover other mcbride and limit to maybe 4 points

delbarton has a better goalie but ive seen moments where lawrenceville SOPHOMORE goalie looked spectacular

now i know delbarton would never play this game at home in the near future because if they lost it would "destroy" their reputation, and so they say,,but why dont they just accept the request so we can finally find out who the real #1 team in nj is...and no one post with the pg crap because every year delbarton plays pg teams like deerfield and hotchkiss...

Also, anyone find it funny that St. Anthonys plays the catholic Maryland powerhouses like Boy's Latin but delbarton doesnt take that route?

That was 2003. The earliest these teams could meet up again - even if a decision to arrange a game was reached - might not be for a few years. Both teams have 20 or more games to schedule already.

no, and it would be easy to schedule to a game before the beginning of the season because lawrenceville has been requesting it for the past three years...delbartons class of 09' is obviously better however this past lawrenceville's senior class is without a doubt better than delbartons....also i know for a fact that lawrenceville's freshman class,going to be sophomores is head and shoulders above delbartons...hopefully we can see a game in 2 to 3 years but i doubt it cause delbarton is afraid to lose, especially to a team in nj that has a better reputation as a school than they do anyway

Your above statement is confusing. You say Delbartons 09' calss is obviously better, but Lawrencvilles soon to be sophomores are head and shoulders above delbartons. Your talking about the same class.

oh sorry about that, for some reason i thought he was talking about the junior class going to be seniors....class of 09' is much better at lawrenceville,,,best player on delbarton i would say is Alex white, for lawrenceville its Duncan clancy...and lawrenceville had a freshman named max who made varsity however io think this kid duncan is better than him..class of 09 ive heard is the best lacrosse class lawrenceville has ever had..also, they have masis from ramapo coming who is nASTy at goalie and will easily take over that kid from ridgewoods spot and they luke armour from montclair who is also very good,,

my team played the lville 09' class and they are a solid group but only made up of a few players. they have 2 good poles, 1 good middie, a good goalie, and 2 good attackmen by good i dont mean outstanding either.

No he's from Franklin Lakes actually. That's such crap I can't believe he went to stupid Lawrenceville. Delbarton has a nasty goalie in the class of '09, and he's much better than Masis, I have played with / against both.

Yeah he's from Franklin Lakes. I know him personally. He is a beast. I played with him in Rec and at Ramapo. He went there his freshman year. He went to Lawrenceville because of better opportunities. In my opinion he is better than the other sophmore goalie at lawrenceville. I played with him for Tri-state this summer.
