i play close d for my high school and i was wondering how a d pole gets recruited. they dont get written about in the papers and dont really put up the stats like attackmen do so i was just wondering wut some other d poles r doen to get noticed by colleges.

CAMPS!!!! its a big part to getting rcruited

yes camps are huge. also you coach has a lot to do w/ it.

yeah camps are huge. big tourneys and summer traveling teams(i dont have either) are both good ways to ge noticed

camps arent important, summer club teams that go to tournements are where u get recurited. the only camps that can be beneficial are 205, dixie, blue chip, top star

granted that recruiting camps are important, it is incorrect to say that camps in general aren't important. a lot of college coaches run their own camps that are not specifically for recruiting. contacting a coach and going to his camp is very beneficial. ask the coaches themselves.
