Do I need to wear cleat when playing lacrosse or can i wear gym shoes because alot of the time i see people wear cleat but other times i see people wear just regular sneakers

depends on the surface you are playing on
If it's turf or indoors you should be ok. If it's grass you're probably going to want to get a pair of cleats. I personally use cleats on turf and grass.

cleats only epecially if the grass is wet
