i'm looking to buy a new cascade helmets, since my old XP is too small. my dad was willing to put in the money for a cascade, and i was just wondering what significant(sp?) differences there are between the cpx n the cpro.

Way to completly ignore the question. The Cpro and Cpx are pretty similar, but the Cpx has a bent facemask that supposedly helps with vision. The chin and visor pieces also look different, but its not that big of a deal. The Cpx is a one size fits all helmet with pad inserts, and the Cpro is fitted (s/m, l/xl).
Correct me if im wrong, but im pretty sure Cascade wasnt even coming out with an 07' helmet.
Edit- nope. Found the thread, doesent sound like anything new is happening, except (maybe) colored facemasks.
someone on here posted that a friend of theirs was a rep. or close to a rep. for cascade and they said that no new helmet for '07 would be released.

Yay i believe i'm the one that was quoted. Personally i like the cpx and believe it has better features ofcorse thats just my opinion. If you have a chance go to a shop and try both on, many people have different prefferences.

Hmmm... i went with the Cpro ti myself after feeling the liner difference between the two. To me, it was much more comfy than the CPX. btw the packaging said it was a Gen 4 liner and i think the CPX has the "Gen 5 liner"
the next 'one'

i also went with the Cpro Ti. i always thought the cpros looked better. plus the whole one size fits all thing and the CPX doesnt work with me.

Nice... good choice I'd say. My thinking was 'Why go with a helmet that isn't even that comfy?' The only thing I do like on the CPX is the chin piece though.
