This is just an idea, feel free to expierment with it (although read the warnings):
Okay, here's a way to keep glove's palms from getting all crusted, stiff, dry, or whatever. First you would want to clean them using soap and water, and let them dry. Next apply mink oil to the palms. Mink oil is an oil that a lot of baseball players use to keep their leather gloves soft, or in general keeps leather soft. Just follow the directions on the bottle and let them dry for 24 hours. This I know works for palms with leather. I had Warrior Tempos (my first gloves) a couple of years ago, and they are still very soft and haven't cracked.
Warnings: I don't know how well it works with the newer gloves with majority of synthetic material as the palms. Also, it will turn the glove palm darker, so lighter leather will look darker. It also turns the tape on your shaft (if you use any) a dark color, as in black. I am not responsible for anyone screwing up their gloves, this is an idea I am sharing.

most of the new gloves have mesh plams to rid players of the stiffness and trouble that is with the leather on the palms. i made the swithc from leather palms to mesh palms awhile ago and its so much of a difference. it would be one thing i would strongly suggest looking into

brine makes the best palms. they have synthetic leather and rock. they have amazing grip without all that added sticky stuff on warrior freaks. brine palms have amazing grip and good ventilation. check out the "vent flex" palms on vents. hot stuff.

I love the Brine palms, I have the Gels and love them, but I also broke my thumb in them (I got hit in the nonpadded part, the palms) ... but I'm on the Team AZ for the Vail U-17, and we got the ProStars, and personally, I like my Gels better..

ok, i know this thread is old but id rather not start a new thread to answer my q. I have the STX EXO gloves and they're getting stiff, smelly, and theres a small hole (diameter of a pen point) in one palm. Are those leather palms? and when i wash them how do i do it? cause i dont want to wash the wrong stuff of something.
