what does the bend in the crankshaft do?

in which one cs2 or 10? 2 i havent got a clue, more offset thats about it. but the 10 move your hand closer to the offset allowing for as stx puts it "more ball feel". there was just a thread on this in the equipment forum. you'll probably get more help in there.
