im getting a brine edge aero head for defense because of it's stifness and i was wondering what would be better. I have already ruled out soft mesh.

This is a preference thread which aren't allowed as no other omember can tell you what will be good for you to use. I do know that many defensemen, myself included, prefer 6-Diamond Mesh.
