I spent a couple days stringing this, and have decided to share it with you. Hope you enjoy! The channel is straight, some of the pictures might not tell you so. Also, tell me which you like more quality-wise, the pictures on the wood, or the one on the carpet.

Later I will update with images I have played around with in gimp, they look really cool.

It throws well, has amazing hold, and well, need I comment on looks?

I had some fun with gimp this morning, and did some basic effects to some photos. Had to do links because you can only put so many pictures into one post. Hope you like 'em!

I had to use filesocket for this one, image socket didn't support the file type.

Holy crap, all those coils in that channel.... that's amazing! It looks so clean and symmetrical from what I can tell, have you gotten a chance to throw with it? And how much crosslace did it take? It looks VERY nice, goodjob!

They aren't, I'm too lazy to interlock with coils. Besides, this way I could stick to the big word knot.

Yep, coming tommorow!

I love how lots of people are saying "I wish I could string like that", when I am only 12 years old:grin: Not to brag or anything...

I guess it doesn't really matter how old you are when you string. It's all natural ability when you think about it.

laxman37
08-16-2006, 06:17 PM
True, but you can improve on natural ability, correct?

You know your pocket is good when you have some of the best TLF stringiers saying its good.

The channel looks AMAZING, though I could do with out the coils... Too time consuming, and I'm not good at twists nor coils =P...

Freakin' insane... I'd buy one(after seeing how it threw)... Great job.

I reused old leathers because I didn't have any others. Now that I think about it, I should have used the old ones on the outside.

have you ever done that before? or did you just keep redoing things over and over? anyways, thats awesome, what do you call it?
This was my first time doing that pocket. I also need a good name for it, got any suggestions?

You know your pocket is good when you have some of the best TLF stringiers saying its good.
That made me get the fuzzy feeling inside.

Well, I would sell one, but it would be kind of expensive because of all the time, work and crosslace involved. Still, I'm always looking to make a buck.

It is kind of heavy, but I think that the holding ability outweighs (pun, get it) the weight.

I agree about kryptics pita!

Thanks for all the compliments guys, I really appreciate them. Anything you guys would do different, or maybe better?

E3? comeon dude, I think everybody here knows thats not an E3, its one of those edge knock offs if I'm not mistaken, and I may be, but i defenatly know its not an E3. (i'm not flaming i'm being as nice as possible)

aka edge knock off. so thank you for proving me right. dosent even matter cuz my point was that it looks nothing like an E3. did u read my post?

yes i did. but it has really nothing to do with the edge. its a beginners stick they sell at dick's. i have one too. it was my first stick.

but...this has nothing to do with that. it is not an E3 and you are correct on that one.

EDIT: laxman...that sucks you didn't do a topstring so you could transplant it to a different head  .

It is a blaze. It was the only unstrung head I had around when I got the idea, so I strung it on the blaze. Shame.

First post edited with face shots.

well seeing as it is made by brine, and seeing brines obbsession with their masterpiece, the edge, and also that it looks alot like the edge, i surmised that it was a begginers version of the edge at an affordable price tag.

It would actually make a sweet head if you pinch it. The offset is not that extreme, so you gain some of the pros from both offset and non-offset heads. It is very stiff, and if you give it a sweet pinch, it would be awesome.
