my pp came in the mail today so i just put a simple pocket in it.

Like whip eh? Me too.
Top string looks textbook. Might want to work on the nylon shooter though.
The sidewalls look tight but I think you may want to tighten them a little bit.
Maybe its the way you do them. Hmm if it shoots good and the way you like it, Sweet. then great job.

it actully dosent have a lot of whip. but i also havent had a chance to shoot with it. but yeah i redid my nylon shooter.

Hmm...Then your shooters must be really lose.
Does that PP look wider than othere's or is it just the picture? Or just me?

no its not, its a old peice from jimalax that i found while cleaning my room. and not a lot of whip.

I agree with whom ever said tighten the sidewalls a little i find this helps in making a more consistent pocket

Nice TV. Decent pocket, but I suggest pounding up high and gradually skipping diamonds, rather then just skipping a whole bunch where you want the pocket.
Whatever works for you though.

The shooters cant be tight, If theres not a lot of whip, it just doesn't make sense. 4 Hockey lace shooters and one nylon shooter ='s a lot of whip in my opinion.

i donno but a lot of heads are wider than they were when first made. like the profile. the head looked pretty pinched but when i got it it was as wide as my Icon. then my teammate got a pp and his head was wider than i imagined

i dont like your topstring...the mesh isnt centered in the head, i would redo it and use orange's topstring from his tut. but besides that it looks pretty good.

Use oranges guide to a giant pocket..
Top string is way to loose.. Interlock your sidewalls and tighten them and dont just skip diamonds.

yeha i was just looking at that too it looks like yiou started on the first diamond of the mesh on the left and the second on the right

I noticed that too, mine barely gets the ball through anymore... yours looks really wide.

you got your icon wide? mine was pinched and alot of people noticed it it has since widened a little but its still pretty pinched for an icon. i dont know, ive only seen four icons up close and they look all the same. pinched.

no, that pocket will throw well. if you look at how stiff the mesh is at the release, theres no way it will have a lot of whip. Umm...just break in your pocket. it looks like it has no hold on the sides of the ball.
and 1st gens of heads are always much more pinched than 2nd gens. just look at the pp, vapor, matrix, answer, icon, razer, blade, etc. etc. bascially every head that's been released. the nitrous and vapor are the sweetest 1st gens.

I dont know if you meant to or not but you skipped some holes in the side of the mesh, the way i learned you're never supposed to skip a hole otherwise the spacing would be messed up. Just a thought though.

Mesh doesn't look overly strectched...
Sidewalls could be a bit tighter, maybe - probably...

yeah the P2 is pretty wide, thats why i pinched the Bung outta mine
Looks alright the sidewalls look loose and the shooters look excessive but thats somewhat preferance, i gotta say though, there is definately a Gen 2 PP and thats it,

y did u skip a hole on the mesh u should never and try wraping the side wall around the first and second holes to pull the mesh to the side of the head but its perty nice

that pocket is loose. thats another thing i gotta say tighten some parts of the sidewall. id also get every diamond.
