ok so first thing im gonna say is search
plz for the love of god search i know for a fact that there are atleast 2 other threads on this

second.... i find shooters dont help as much and pocket placement, depth, and type

but ive heard us and vs add hold i dont buy it tho

not true... sorry but i have pockets with plenty of hold and almost zero whip

A U at the start of the pocket will add more hold. The tighter it is the more hold, but likely more whip.
