I had no idea where to put this at all: doesn't really fit well anywhere else.. except maybe in the suggestions..etc.. forum...

Is TLF becoming the Warrior of lacrosse forums?

it's obviously the best and biggest, but.....

just a thought I had, wondering what everyone thinks..

*feel free to move to the most appropriate forum..

no, tlf is just becoming the best lacrosse forum... haha tblf but i dont think its becoming like warrior, if your implying warrior is the best and before anything sparks up, there is no best company, its only what you want thats best for you

I think we can leave this thread here, as it will at least generate the most conversation, and as Whee said, it just doesn't fit in anywhere else...

But as for the "Warrior" of all forums...are you suggesting that TLF is an over-inflated, grossly overrated, and supporting poor technology in its lacrosse equipment? (sorry, I'm very opinionated when it comes to Warrior)

No! TLF is more the Cadillac of lacrosse forums. Think about it. Older members on here drive the site, and go much slower than the kids driving behind them, blowing their horns periodically to remind us they're back there. The newer members are always trying to trick out the site, suggesting "spinners" and "hydrolics" to make the site more flashy, but us old phogeys just won't comply....most of the time.

I dunno...there's probably a much better comparison thing, but I just can't think this morning.

hahahaha that is so true...

i agree with you, its probably better to compare it to being like the cadillac rather than the warrior.

ehh, well warrior makes the best stuff, this site is just aight. If this site gets better it will be the warrior of all lax boards.
What??? Warrior makes the best stuff? No way man. And how is this site just aight. I honestly don't know of any other lacrosse forums. Thanks to these forums, my interest in lax has grown so much. I'm on these forums everyday, and learn new things everyday.
That's jsut my opinion though.

I wouldn't really compare it to Warrior. If the background was "iPod white", maybe we could make a comparison, but other than that I don't think so.

*gasp* TLF is more than "aight" it's amazing!!! And it's probably more adicting than heroine. I'm on here at least 2-4 hours a day. And for Warrior being the best that's your opinion, please don't be ignorant about it. ( I respect your opinion though I strongly disagree)

tlf is like the inner-city. we have addicts who make about 200 posts in two days. the gangs like noodle arms and such. WE have a mayor (mark) and his cabinet members(snake-eyes and adam). his police force all of the mods.

Since TLF i have forgotten most of the other sites I used to visit. They just dont amount to TLF in anyway.

I must say... TLF is the biggest and baddest lax forum around... but you don't see the sub-forums named stuff like "General Pimp Session" or, "Mens Field Grillz" or whatever warrior would name them.

Ah how i love this place.

There is a forum on laxpower, but it seems to be more focused on particular leagues and regions, rather than on the variety of topics that are on TLF. Also, the Laxpower forum seems to draw an older crowd.

i think i found a new best friend...
i would say, to add on to your cadallaic comparsion, we are really just cars, older members are in their lowriders, meanwhile there some yongsters more mature buying a '84 chevy wrapped in fo' vouges. And then we have the others who are all about pimpin their car. Cant forget the racers, used cars, brand new cars, and the certified pre owned

TLF is more like Gary Gait. Completely dominant in all things lacrosse. Both are true to the sport. Both know everything about the sport, from coaching, to rules, to how to play and win. And most importantly, both kick serious butt!

And if you ever see Open Forum become renamed Pimpin Talk Bout Stuff Dat Ain't Be Lax, then you'll know we're like Warrior.
