i believe this is the rite forum. im an incoming freshman at UNF and another kid and i r tryin to start a college club team. i was just wondering the best way to go about finding a coach and getting the team formed. we have alot of people wanting to play and have enough players and im just wondering the best way to go about it. we r also tryin to get a girls team also.

u should try and contact other club teams around you to see if they will help you out. Most club teams can't wait for more teams to join. You could always start a sort of "bush league" team until u get more organized and just travel to fall ball tournys. But i would definitely check out selc.org and contact some people on that list. Thats the governing body of the southeastern lacrosse conference in the USLIA. They will be able to point you in the right direction. Good Luck!

yeah definitely chek out the otehr club teams in the area. to find a coach post it in the IL classifieds and contact ur high school coach and see if he has any friends or anything like that. to get the team formd maybe hold some tryouts yourself or at least get a roster of everyone wanting to play. also talk to your administration and see if you can use the school name and logo and evrything.
