How about Cantabene winning 27 out of maybe 38 face offs in the game.
Phila was not doing as well as they could on face offs for the first part of the season, so what did they do? Go get one of the best face of guys to ever play.
Nice going Phila!.
Geoff Snider was kicking everones butt in the World Games while Paul Cantabene was on the sidelines coaching the US team face off guys. Who came up with that plan? Geoff was able to use his box stick at the Worlds but still...Paul beat him pretty well Sunday. Did Geoff take most of Denvers face offs?
Nice going Paul!.

just more evidence that paul cantabene should have been doing the face-offs for team usa in the world games. one of the main reasons that canada defeated us was because no one could counter geoff snider.
cantabene WORKED snider up and down the field. should of been on the team...

Chris Cercy won 3-of-19 faceoffs.
Geoff Snider won only 5-of-15.
While most comments focus on the failure of the US team to include Cantabene, there is a less obvious but significant point.
Since Cantabene dominating the Outlaw's best FO guy (Cercy) and then their seond-best (Snider), doesn't that mean that the USA-Canada final in the international games did not feature either of the two best FO players in the world?
The MLL final, however, did have the best on display. They deserve credit for putting the best players on the field, which is what we want to see.

They don't put "shouldas" and "wouldas" in the record books. What they do put in is the winners and losers names. Hopefully if Cantabene is around in another 4 years he can make your point for you. In the meantime, 2006 World Lacrosse Champions: Canada.

dude, relax, were not trying to take anything away from Canada, we are just wondering if the results of the game would have been different if Cantabene had been in the game.
