Go to your doctor and get some of the steroid stuff. You either get pills or an ointment.

I do not recomend taking steriodsd, because once you start taking them you have to slowly get off them, and they can also have bad effects.
You can tape the prts of your body with poison ivy so u cant directly sracth them. Also my friend had poison ivy and he got a shot fopr it and it stopped itching for him and was no longer spreading.

Actually you do. I'm on them right now (unfortunatley), but not for posin ivy or allergies, but for my stomach. If you just stop taking them your body gets really messed up. So you do have go off them slowly otherwise it will have bad effects.

I believe they wein you off them if you have been taking them for a long period of time. Happend to me too, not poison but for the intestine, I was on it for a while in the hospital then had to keep taking smaller and smaller doses over a long period of time, or what seemed like a long period of time.

if it's too bad... you can go to your doctor and get a shot for it, and it will be gone in about 3 days as long as you leave it alone.

i had poisen ivy right before the lax season last year right on my ankle, so i had to get rid of it quick, what i did was slather it in tons of hydracortisone then cover it with gauze pads and then medical tape. That way i couldn't scratch it.

I guess you should see a doctor for a perscription or something. Also putting duct tape and the infected parts will prevent you from scratching yourself. Lucky for me I dont get posion ivy. Good Luck!

Do you know what happens when you put bleach on your skin?
It makes soap... and melts your skin
Not a good idea.

why not... i was just going to say the same thing. everytime i get it i open it up with a knife and pour chlorlox on it. it dries it up pretty fast.

i always get and it and nothing seems to help so my method is to scratch it all off, it may be painfull but then it scabs over and doesnt itch anymore
