Wow, everyone should go to www.savetheinternet.com and look at the information on it. it appears there is a bill going through congress affecting the websites we're allowed to view, and seeing as this is a website, I think everyone should look!

i think this is just one of those conspiracy theories. they cant limit what websites we view, thats against the constitution. but the government is so corrupt i dont doubt they would pass the bill.

Wow that would stink i just dont see how they could do that they can just run the websites out of another country like the gambling website bodog or something so he dont have to pay any us taxes and they can't stop him.

the goverment could really use the money from taxing the websites. it would greatly help them cut down the nations trillion dollar defecite. i would not be that surprised if they didn't save the internet.

I find it really scary that the gov. could use this to limit what information people have access to, first they tap our phones and now they want to control our computers. What ever happened to freedom?

The article is not saying we won't be able to see TLF and that the governement is going to block websites. It is just saying that TLF would load much much slower than a site like yahoo or google would. You would still be able to view any website, its just a matter of how long untill you could view it.

True but they are doing this purposly so you get frustrated and don't view those sites. Its also scamming high speed internet users.

I signed the petition thing. Its amazes how the government feels like they own the internet and can do anything they want.

yeah, but they have been talking about for a couple of years. enjoi started a thread on this at least 6 months ago, and its been in congress for over a year.

And the Gov't does technically own the internet, as it is a public domain
