13&14 year olds. I was an assistant coach box in Ontario. I will probably coach the same level this comming year or lower. Depends on where the league puts me.

U15 boys travel team, 7 & 8th grade boys rec league team, and an 8 & 9th grade boys team. Also coached 7 & 8th grade girls at a couple of games when their regular coach
couldn't make it.

Just finished coaching a 1992 & 1993 box lacrosse rep team in Clarington Ontario. I will be coaching a 1993 & 1994 field team this fall and hope to bring the team to a few 7 on 7 tournaments in New York State. Any suggestions on tournaments would be appreciated.

I find the first few practices with an "allstar" team to be the toughest. It's like hearding cats. Everyone is trying to show off. It takes a while to get them to play like a team instead of a group of free agents.

Several Canadian clubs go the the Ithaca TurkeyShoot in November and there is also the Orangeville tournament in September a little closer to home.

As far as coaching goes, this year I coach novice box rep and houseleague (9-10yr olds) in Nepean (the Knights in KnightsLaxDad) and U9-U11 field for the Ottawa Nemesis.

In terms of actual age, 18-22 (USLIA/USL-MDIA/MCLA college club) although we've had a few guys that were in the military for a few years that are just now going to college and looking to play, they're from 27 to 28 (which is weird because I'm 26).

i coached a D2 high school (boys) in TX for almost 8 years, some summer leagues (MS thru HS), and several different clinics for all ages, boys and girls. I don't know the womens' game that well, so mostly I only offer up basics, like awareness, body movement, and general hustle and bustle. too answer Canadian Lax's question about girls or boys, it is the eager kids that are easier to teach. teh mechanics and theories are easy, but getting kids to learn to play and develop together is what I find the be the toughest bit about coaching.

I run the Glendale Lacrosse League in Glendale AZ. We have three age groups, 8-11, 12-14 and 15 to 17. Teaching them in practice and watching them execute during the games is just an awesome experience.
