RU has the best running back tandem in the nation with Rice and Leonard, but they lost a lot on defense. Thats why I picked against them.
Question for you Connecticut dwellers - Is UConn football a big deal up there yet? Is it talked about a lot or what?

USF is going all the way this year. Pat Julmiste and Ricky Ponton both have a lot to prove, and they won't dissapoint. Also no one is going anywhere against our linebackers. USF 45 McNeese 6

I agree with fairspanishladi's picks except that i think the UL-UK game will be a lot closer than expected. Look at last year, when UL had a much bigger defensive advantage than this year and UK almost took it into OT.

UConn football started to get big when we made it to the bowl game. But i personally have lost interest. I/my family bought season tickets when they first built the new stadium because they were supposed to play some big name schools like B.C and Miami, and a few others. But after a few years and those teams left the big east, I lost interest in playing crappy teams like buffalo, army, and duke. Basically they have two tuff games a year WVU and Luisville, and UConn gets killed everytime. People from Connecticut think UConn is better than what they really are.

It all comes down to WVU @ Louisville, BCS bowl on the line, along with title implications. lol Major Applewhite left 1-10 cuse' to coach 1-10 Rice. Guess its better to be 1-10 in Texas lol.

I would have picked the UK-UL game closer, but last year's game was at UK. This one is in Louisville. Last year they outscored teams 55-15 there. They have an offense as good as any in the country, return most of their defensive starters, and have a jerkbag coach that loves running the score up.
As for the USF fan, Ponton is decent, but I dunno about Julmiste. He and Patterson from Cuse have to be #1 and #1-A for the worst QB's in the nation. Losing that back is going to hurt. You guys have decent recievers but no throwng QB. I'll give props to your defense and especially your linebackers though. They have the best LBers in the conference.
