The best and upcoming Keenan Thompson. That guy from All that. He is great and has alot of talent but I agree. Snl is not really funny to me anymore.

SNL always goes through eras of great comedians and then a slump time of poorer ones. Think of all the different eras of cast members they've had. It's hard to keep great comedians on SNL because it's becoming such a significant launching pad in show business. Think of it as a mountain ranges-you'll have your peak, then a slow decline, then a valley, then a ascent up again and another peak. Right now, SNL would be in a very deep valley.

What do you consider "old SNL"?
To me it's Bill Murray, Dan Akroid, John Belushi, Chevy Chase, Jane Curtin, Gilda Radner, Lorraine Newman and Garrett Morris. Those will forever be the classic SNL performers for me.
Eddie Murphy dominated an otherwise mediocre cast in the early 80's, but was hilarious nonetheless.

Schwety Balls? Alec Baldwin was good.
The Eddie Murphy ladie's man is great.
Lazy Sunday is the best recent stuff.
