c-pro, i dont no, maybe im just old and set in my ways (well, minus the old part), but ive just never had a problem with my c-pro, or any cascade ive had for that matter, they've all lasted me for a long time, and have helped me survive a number of hard hits.

I'll go with the Gait. It's light, durable and I love the adjustable feature. Besides the Cpro is just to expensive over here!
I hve to admit I never played with a Cpro, because it's not that often played in Germany, just once I played the C 2 and I think the Gait is definitely better!

The regular C-pro is pretty heavy... as heavy or possibly heavier than the regular Cascade. The C-pro ti is incredibly light though.

i am going to purchase a new helmet next weekend, so what helmet would you suggest for an intermediate high school player to buy, the c2 or the c-pro?

I like the stryke z-pro, it's nice, especially with my new ti cage, HOLY ****!!!

but, for field i switch to a O'neil/maxlax cage on the stryke, what a light combo!!!

If you want light, pull a Tom Ryan and put a MAXLAX/O'neil cage on there

I dig the Brine Triad helmet. It rocks my socks. Haha.

I think it is going to become the next best thing in lax helmets.

Riddell also has a helmet coming out though. It looks similar to the Cascade C-Pro through Cascade X. IE: similar shell design. The facemask is different from the C-X.

definetly c-pro. its light, has great peripheral vision, and its well vented.

Dan

cause i get payed 225 bucks, and since being a paper boy only pays 30 dollars a month, i take money where ever i can, and i usually buy lacrosse equipment. casey doesn't wear a pro Z, he wears a C pro? eh?

Dan
11-07-2003, 10:32 PM
aye, but in the games what's he wearing? a cpx. i'm telling you, if you're gonna use what casey's using, you've got to go cpx.

LSM
11-08-2003, 05:05 PM
in what games has he been playin in a cpx?

OttO
11-08-2003, 05:57 PM
true, the cpx was introduced in the mll championship which CASEY WAS NOT IN.

Dan
11-08-2003, 06:00 PM
eh, whatever. i figure he's gonna be wearing one next year. i'm not particular.

Paul_Gait_RULZ
11-10-2003, 08:11 PM
well, it depends actually , cuz if powell plays MLL it'll be whatever they supply, but if he plays box it'll have to be a GAIT box bucket in anaheim...

and if he plays team USA... it'lllbe a stryke
z-pro

i just wrote this up in the product review forum
http://lacrosse.ws/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1679

I think what it comes down to is that while I really liked how the cpro felt the triad st is my choice cause it is a steal for $100

My pick has to be gait. I got one for christmas and I just love it, it is definatley the most comforatable helmet I have worn. As far as weight goes, I did a little experiment this morning and found Gait 2lbs. 4.5 oz. My Old C2 2lbs. 6 oz. Dosen't sound like much but you can definatley tell a diffrence.
