Post your starting rosters! Here's mine.
QB - M. Hasselbeck (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/players/4416)
RB - R. Brown (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/players/7178)
RB - T. Bell (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/players/6800)
TE - A. Gates (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/players/6663)
W/T - C. Chambers (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/players/5499)
W/T - Ro. Smith (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/players/3328)
W/T - A. Bryant (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/players/5949)
K - M. Stover (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/players/1078)
DEF - Pittsburg (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/teams/pit)
My only notable backups are Brett Favre and Ronnie Brown.
It's actually my first serious fantasy football team, we had a live draft and everything it was pretty sick. Can't wait to see how this turns out.
Opinions on my lineup? Your lineup?

Tatum Bell isn't a starter. Put in Ronnie Brown. He was my 1st round draft pick in like 2 drafts
Here's one of mine:
QB:Jake Delhomme
RB:Ronnie Brown
RB:Willie Parker
WR:Plexico Burress
WR:Chris Chambers
WR:Eric Moulds
TE:Chris Cooley
DEF:New England

Learn how to spell Pittsburgh. Also, it looks like you didn't pay attention to the RBs. Also, it looks like you have a good WR in Chambers, but he's a risky pick. Also, your best pick: Gates, isn't going to get you a lot of points.
You lost before you begun. Give up.
anjang86
08-30-2006, 11:49 PM
I agree he didn't pay attention to his running backs. Chris Chambers is a great pick though. He put up good numbers with Gus Frerotte at QB and Culpepper looks great. Gates is going to get top 5 numbers MINIMUM. He's a great TE and even though Rivers is inexperienced nothing can change Gates' skill.
Gates is his best pick.. but he's not going to get the points that a "best pick" should get.
Thats why he should give up, now, he's lost before he's begun.
I just want to make clear real quick that I did a mock draft today and it sucked (I had the 13/16th pick). Also, I want to also say that I didn't even do the draft last year and still won my league. You just have to know who's gonna do what when and at what time against who and to what extent and will it help you.
That's the trick folks.

NewEnglandLaxer
09-01-2006, 11:49 PM
Here is my main one. It involves 8 kids from my school and we each pay 5 bucks. 2nd place gets money back and winner takes rest.
Heres my team:
QB-J. Delhomme:Great potential for getting alot of yards. A somewhat weak running game allows for more passing yards. He also has 2 great weapons in Steve Smith and Keyshawn Johnson
WR-P. Burress:Obvious #1 receiver. Could have a great connection with Eli (like harrison and peyton) pending on the fact they dont fight. He has great size which allows him to get alot of catches.
WR-J. Horn:#1 receiver. Just increased his fantasy stock with Stallworth being traded. The only problem with him is his age and he is injury prone.
RB-R. Brown:Will be great this year as a second year RB. No more Ricky Williams mean more touches for him
RB-S. Jackson:Great RB with great speed. Fantasy stock just dropped with the signing of Stephan Davis. Jackson may end up on my bench if he doesn't become a finisher
W/R-W. Parker:Amazing speed. Fast Willie no longer has Jerome who will be a finisher. He should increase from his great year last year
TE-J. Witten:Had a great year last year and will again in the Dallas offense.
K-J. Reed:I just drafted a reliable kicker and that was him
DB-C. McAllister:Great DB and is reliable to have a great season
DB-B. Dawkins:Star of the Eagles defense. He will get many int's and tackles
DL-D. Freeney:Will get tons of sacks for my team
DL-T. Spikes:Drafted in hopes that he returns to his way of the 04-05 season. Could be on the bench if he doesnt do well
Bench-
D. Bledsoe:T.O,Glenn,Witten,Jones. Has a great receiving group and he should be able to find someone
V. Davis:Drafted in a late round in hold for a breakout. Has great speed and size
D. Brees:Use for trade bait if needed. Could be helpful in a bye week or late in the season when other teams are playing backups
M. Jones:Will be the #1 receiver for the Jags this year, has great size but lacks speed. Will be a good backup when needed
F. Gore:Gore will take Jackson's position if Jackson can't get TD's. Gore will have a great year this year
A. Lelie:Recent pickup. May work his was as my starter if Horn doesnt get a good connection with Brees, or if Vick can get the ball to him
W. Sapp:Enough said. Reliable. Has done well forever. Could take Spikes roster spot.
D. Hall:Great DB and is a star on the Falcons

Your team is looking good except I'm skeptical on one of your players. Im unsure how McGahee will do and you don't have a good backup for him, seeing as Jamal Lewis may not even be the starter. You should probaly pick one up in free agency.
homskillet313-
Your team is really good. I can see you winning your league with that team depending on the other teams. You only have one small weakness which is nice. That is Big Ben and howmany yards he will pass for without Randle El. But that is just a very small one.
