Alright so i was watchin the MLL championship and noticed that every glove i saw had no palms in them ..i dont know if its legal or not in the mll but anyways i have mac daddys and it is illegal to cut the palms out in high school and college i believe ..or is it legal?..well if its illegal which i think it is i was thinkin about cutting out the material where the palms are and replacing it with some other material and i wanted some suggestions on what to replace it with or not to..also any ways to break the material alredy in the gloves more then they alreayd are...they're almost 2 years old

you have to have palms in HS and college. its only legal to cut out palms in the mll

Now, I'm not sure, but what you are talking about seems like modifiing your equipment to gain an advantage. We'd need laxref to tell us if CHANGING not removing your palms is legal?!?

you have to have palms. one of my friends got the tape on his fusions for a hole from a ref.

yea im sayin i think i wanna cut the thicker material out and sew in ...have mommy sew in....like idk like pinny material or somethin really thin i dont think many refs would notice

if they say anything just say they ripped and you had to sew new ones in. I dont think it is illegal, but ot might look a bit bucknasty. I heard of people getting (baseball) batting gloves, and sewing them into their lax gloves

Now, I'm almost positive you can cut your palms out. Then go to a store and have them repalmed and they would be legal. I would suggest a golf glove material [That's basically what the Mac Daddy Limited Edition's are.]
Maybe you should ask a Mod to move this thread to the Rules and Officiating Forum so LaxRef can take a look at this for a deffinite answer.
