Funniest Moment You Have Had On The Field

Like the title i'm interested in stories and i love lacrosse some it works perfectly personaly for me i have to great moments.

1) We played a team (warwick) and they were getting physical "cheap " and stuff. So we started getting to rough and stuff and on the ground ball on our defensive side ( i played midi) anyway us two midi's go for the ball my team mate on my team gets hit from behind while getting the ball the opposting midi took the ball and ran up feild. I took off after him i heard from behind " your luck y the ref is blind" from my teamate and then the oppositing midifielder turns around and while runing did a stupid fart noise with his motuh and put his hand and stick up in the air. So i see him doing this and out of nowhere our 3rd midi decks him it was so funny i remember just seeing him with the stupid face adn seeing a white object slam into him head on his stick flew in the air as did his helmet and body . We got the ball and scored. It was so ironic and funny.

This happened two years ago. We were playing a decent team at that time (Royal Saint George). They had the almost the same colour jereseys as us.(We had red black and white, they had red and white) So we start the game. Right off the faceoff, we win it and our wing midi picks it up. Instead of going towards the opponents end, he starts running towards our looking to score on our own net. We all started shouting at him to turn around and go the other way. We had a good laugh at the time.

After the game, we asked why he did that and he said he couldn't tell from me and the other goalie.

i heard from a team here, a kid did the same thing and he wouldn't listen to his teamates abot turning around and eventually one of his teams defender decked he to get he to stop.

ha, once in indoors a kid on the other team went the wrong way on a faceoff, and actually scored on his own goalie. he started to celebreate but all his team mates were laughing at him. pretty funny.

also this past summer on the field we play on, there is this pole that looks like a telephone pole only thicker RIGHT by the sideline, not very safe. so anyways, a kid on the other team was going for a groundball near the sideline and once he scooped it, he looks up and runs into the pole and falls down. both teams started cracking up, including the kid who did it

last year in one of my games i was playing lsm and one of their middies tried to chec me and got their stick stuck acrosse my chest under my left arm
So i wrench myself away and he losses his stick and i turn around and let his stick fall to the ground and i hear him say in a shcoked voice " where the f--k is my stick?!?!?" and i got a kick out of that

well one time at practice me and one of our attackmen went for a groundball that slid to my defensive side, so me and him are running full speed at each other since the ball was thrown bad and kept rolling, and right as we get ready to hit each other i pull back and he goes about ten feet running and falling until he falls straight on his face, the whole bench on that side goes crazy and i lightly pick up the ball and go back to the other side of the field, man it was so funny!!!

my other great moment was on a fast break (this time i was on attack) on of our midi's messed up a throw and the ball fell right in the middle of the offenisve side abotu ten yards for the cage so i went to pick it up and knew the goalie would be coming so i grab and get a shot stance set-up awaiting the goalie. Sure enough he came out of hte cage and railed me before i could get my head up, but i was begining my shot so the shot followed through around hte side of his body. I get the shot off as i get drilled to the ground and i remember hearing a "ding and the follow OOOooo and the ball bouncing past me face as i was on the ground. Later my coach told me as i got nail i got the shot off to an open net but the ball hit the right pipe dead on and literally bounced back to me. It was the funniest moment I've had.

I saw a guy take a shot a couple years ago, the types of guys that are really really bad and take about three seconds to get a shot off. you know the type. it was overhand about four or five feet outside of the crease. somehow he NAILS the right pipe and comes back and hits him right in the no-no spot. he fell down and was out the rest of the game. later I saw a trainer asking him if he could still find both of his "buddies".....

so were playing this not-so-good team, and there is a little scrum for a gb in our end of the field. it's three of their guys and one of ours battling it out for this groundball. then, our guy looks up, curses, and backs up quickly. i have no idea why, but then, al of a sudden, our 250 lb defenseman (who is normally very very slow) comes out of nowhere and levels all three of their players with a diving body check. the ball comes trickling out and we run up field with it, and score on a really easy fast break. why was the fast break so easy? because our defenseman continued to lie on top of all three of their middies for another good ten seconds.

My friend scored a goal so he ran up to a defenseman and he started to partyboy him(Jackass), so i ran up to the goalie and partyboyed him while he was retrieving the ball and the ref gave me a lecture but he didn't do anything.

One time during a game, a ref called a fair call on one of the other team's middies. The kid thought it was a cheap call and threw his stick in the air behind him. The stick spun a couple times and then the but-end cracked the ref right in the face (his nose I think). Anyways, the ref just stood there for 30 seconds like he could not believe what had happened. Then he threw a flag and the guy was given a penalty. Both teams were laughing and it was really funny.

a kid took a shot and it hit a defender in the balls and he was like...... well you know what i mean.and in another game this kids dad was saying like roll away and the kid was like shut the.....up and it was funny

Usually the ones where i like make a Great save with my foot, Attackman picks it up and shoots, i get hit in the chest, making another great save, and still dont pick it up, attackman picks it up and i stuff him with my stick, than off the rebound still dont pick it up, attackman picks it up, fakes a couple times, makes me look like a complete girl, and scores. Those are just funny to me, Even though i got scored on. I made like 3 good saves, than i get scored on, and its all worthless. That doesnt happen often, but every once in a while, i just cant seem to pick it up. Oh well, It makes me laugh.
