defense, cause you can crush tiny attackman, and lay some serious lumber, and a fancy strip feels so good. I love it cause it requires trust in your teammates. And its great when you get a groundball, and take it up and score, or initiate a fastbreak. Oh, and you get to hit kids.

Defense, you get a bigger stick, get to whack on peoples arms, hands,body, your job is to protect your goal(along with the goalie) , like said before I just love it not alot of depth to it

I graduated from Landon in 96. :thumbsup:

I always liked attack. I really love being behind the goal, and kinda being like the quarterback of the offense. I used to play midfield, so I don't have a problem with running. But I also like attack because I can play an entire game without having to sub out. Can't do that at midfield.

I love midfeild because faceoffs are my favorite part of the game. Also, i get to hit people, i get to shoot, i get to run the whole length of the feild and make some amazing play and score(never happened, my coach would kill me). Its just everything about lacrosse.

Its a tie b/t mid and Attack becasue im in love with face-offs and i love to score.

Last season my coach let me take a face-off tehn if i won it i would run shoot or pass then stay at attack and teh attackman would run down with the middies but if i lost it then i would run down to attack and the attackman would up to middie...

My favorite position is Middie for sure because it's all positions (except goalie) put together into one. And the fact that if you are a face off mid you control the posessions and the groundballs, which pretty much control who wins and looses.

Goalie. Number one because that's my position and you can be the hero of the game and command the defense. Keepers really set the tone for the whole game. Attack and middies can score all of the goals that they want, but if you don't have a solid goalie in net, you lose the game.

Middie. you get to do everything. play defense, offense, shoot, feed, faceoff. all fo the other postitions are focused on one certain thing, while middie is centered around EVERY thing. its also good because you don't have field restrictions, and you can go everywhere on the field, unlike attack and defense where they have to stay behind the midfiled line.

well i love face offs, so i would say middie, and its awesome b/c my coach was a face off mid at ohio state, and he loves to get the middies the ball on offense, so its a no brainer

Middie rules. You get to hammer people on D, then light up the scoreboard on offense. What more do you want? Although i have to admit, having a longpole in your hands is an indescribable feeling. especially when you impale an unsuspecting attackman on it.

i love goalie the respect you get from teammates and coaches. it kinda balances out the pain

i like goalie for several reasons, one being that i play it so i am impartial. but its just that you really lead the team. you set the tone, and when you make a save it makes your defense to work harder for you. i like the vision it presents, you see everything and i am a very concise person that likes to see patterns and notice maticulous things that certain players do on the other team and i relay that to my defenders or middies. i also like how you can sometimes be the unsung hero.
