Anyway... you really need to tighten your sidewalls. There should not be that much space between the mesh and sidewall. You said you didn't use a tutorial, so I suggest you go back and look at one. That will help you alot.

Im no whiz of a stringer but the only advice I think I can give ot you is tighten up your sidewall a little and maybe fix the shooters, they look a little sloppy.

My advice for you malax is the following if you want to fix it

1. Stretch your mesh as much as possible. Running it under warm water helps too.

2. Move your shooters up higher

3. Follow Oranges guide

4. TIGHT Sidewalls

yea pretty much what they all said but it looksl like you used leather for your top... wouldnt recomend doing that it streaches too much for my liking but i guess its all preference... also if you want to get good i would recomend just practicing on an old head the only way your going to lear is my doing it... good job though

Anyway's malax, I hope everyone else helped you. The main thing you need to do is tighten your sidewalls. Then, you should be good.

if you have trouble making tight sidewalls or stretching the mesh it helps to get white mesh. In colored mesh the dye kinda hardens it making it harder to stretch which will mean the sidewalls wont be as tight as they should. Other then that, check out oranges tut... oh and btw my stringings like a billion times better than talent or pblax combined, not really (but it is tho)

stringing prolly isnt for you... id let some1 on your team string that for you..

its his first time... and he wasnt even using a tut

use a tutorial malax, then itll be sick, esp since its an answer

is that your new answer?

also, are you going for a pocket with whip? without?

do you want a low/medium/ or high pocket?

For your first time stringing, and not using a Tutorial...That's a good job.
A lot better than my first pocket.
But great advice has been giving. Try unstringing it and Following Orange's Tutorial on mesh [he's one of the best stringer's here if you didn't know, very trustworthy guide].
And keep unstringing and strining it untill it's perfect.

for the record-i was going for a medium pocket with no whip (i hate whip). I just threw around with it after taking out the leather and tightening up the sidewalls and it has a bit too much whip for me. but luckilly, my little bro thinks its perfect so hes gunna give it a try. after he plays fall ball im gunna try again with those tuts. hopefully ill get good at this some day haha. thanks for all the help guys!!

(and ps, sweet_cex is our team stik doctor)
