i use rubber on my goalie sticks but then tape on my shorties

i think its mostly just all preference watever u like or think feels better

I use tape or a covered up bottlecap. If I use a buttend, I will only use the warrior ones because the brine and stx ones are too thick and I dont like them.

I only use tape because with rubber buttends they fall off. Even if you put tape on them they will eventually fall off. Tape never falls off.

split th tape in half for the buttend and wrap nice and thick then have tape going up the shaft about 10-12inches for my shooting hand positions.i usehockey tape for the buttend and electrical tape for the wraping up the shaft.

Those are the only rubber buttends I use cause they're smaller than most, but I only use that on my defense stick. All my other sticks have taped ends. I've just never liked the feeling of gripping a rubber buttend while playing.

same. i rip the tape in half the long ways, and then just roll it up to about a quarter inch out from the shaft, then tape over the bottom, and tape about an inch and half up the shaft. thats pretty much it tapewise for me. usually i dont have anything else, but recently i put one piece of tape about 8 inches up the shaft from the end, just for shooting, and it seems to be working pretty good for me.

glorious white athletic tape i just love the grip and the feel, plus i think it looks cool but i dont even do anything special just like 1/4 wrapped around the bottom and then wrapped like 12 inches up and thats it but its still sweet

I use both. I made a couple tape ones just to check it out. I don't have a preference for one over the other. I have yet to throw a stick, but then, I don't shoot very hard.... :agree:

You mean a Power Play? I got one somewhere. I forget what stringing. I still have a lot of unpacking to do, but I think I know where it is (patter of sock feet)... NOPE. Not in the box I thought it was in.

I also have a sweet Brine MD, can't find THEM anymore. Stiffest, hardest head ever made. Won't let it go cheap, though. It's green. Not painted. Green plastic. Hard mesh. :devil:

I don't think there's anybody strong enough to pinch that head!

I just tape mine, but leave the bottom exposed....even those this is "illegal."

I had my stick checked probably 10-15 times last season, passed every time soooo yeah.
