Help with pocket

Hey guys im having trouble figuring out my pocket prefrence, mostly for shots, but i would like it to pass decently too. I have a revo pro and it seems like every time i string it without whip, i have so much lip the ball hits the ground. Help me out here.

tie the top shooting string as tight as you can, string the bottom sorta loose then string the middle somewhere in between

Throw a weaved nylon in one diamond row down from the scoop as tight as you can. Also, make sure your top string is tight enough. My revo pro has no wip.
