Question about sidewall and top string

I am going to be doing my first string job soon and I'm going to buy stringing stuff from jimalax, and I am wondering if I can use the spool of sidewall string for my top string also, or if I need to buy a separate spool of top string.

You can definitely use the sidewall string as topstring. I have a spool of topstring and I haven't even made a dent in it after a year or so. You will use the sidewall string a lot more and be happier with its overall consistency as a stringing material.
