Wondering if anybody is entering a team for the tourn on 13th of September?

Im entering one from St. Leonards and we have 4 guys that play.

I know Williamstown entered two teams last year in the yr 7 - 8 div and they totally thrashed us 11 - 0 and the games were only 8 mins long.

Anybody from the forums going to be there?

I cant remember any Wiliamstown teams there as Camberwell High School easily took out the yr7-8 title. I think it was due to the U15 curtain raisers being played that night....

...i will be in the 9-10 or 11-12 Camberwell High team this yr, not sure which one yet

Yeh hopefully we steal you to play in the yr11-12 team because atm we have too many d-men so we need mid/attack players.

I think Melbourne High will easily win. They have some awesome players like Philip Erm and they're training all year together will pull them over the line.

Yeah, I've heard alot about Philip Erm. He's the king of groundballs in the league. I saw him against Melbourne (MCC) and he was rippin em.

It'll be good to catch up with phil again, havent seen him since last yrs eastside.

Teams that will be top three should be: Camberwell High, Willi High and Melb High.
I base this on the fact that these teams should all have a full lineup of players that currently play club level, meaning they have no weaker links.

Do Camberwell High take it seriously?

Or do you have Attackers playing D, D's up forward, and the Goalie taking face?

We have had a few trainings, not full on, but there will be a bit of a shuffle between the positions throughout the day.

Yr 9 and 10 boys is on tomorrow

Anybody that played in the 9 & 10 last year, how tough are the ref's at calling slash's and bar checks?

For most of my team this is the first time they have played u15 rules and we only found out about it 3 weeks ago so we havent had any trainings. I'm expecting them to do some outragesly illegal things. (i will tell them the rules though)

Meh its ok

We have lost like 3 or 4 key players due to bloody sacs for VCE so from having leik 12 people who play we are down to liek 5 or 6 and the rest people who havnt played.

We are playing in the 11 and 12s but

Results: (Correct me if i'm wrong)
Winner of Yrs 9+10: Williamstown High
Runner-up of Yrs 9+10: Camberwell High

Winner of Yrs 11+12: Williamstown High
Runner-up of Yrs 11+12: Camberwell High

Obviously Willi High's best teams were a notch above all the other teams, more numbers and more experience.
Congratulations to Willi High For taking out the day, Camberwell High for coming runners up and also all those who played.
